Creating OH! Moments
When 20th Century Fox was looking for a launch partner to target families for their new animation release, HOME, they found their perfect match with one of New Zealand's biggest brands.
THE CLIENT BRIEF:
HOME was soon to become a successful release about an alien race called the Boov and a loveable character called OH!
However, 20th Century Fox was looking for additional exposure with a focus on targeting families through partner channels. Their offering to the client was exclusive AV content and co-branded opportunities.
THE IDEA:
With perfect alignment in audience, name, and character, we came up with an integrated brand campaign promoting “Oh! Moments”, relating to the time when you need help from your insurer. So, with some great AV content to play with and a well-developed concept, we went into partnership with New Zealand’s largest insurer, AA Insurance.
THE PARTNER OBJECTIVES:
AA Insurance wanted to engage with their audience in an entirely new and fun way but ultimately the partnership for them was about creating a unique campaign that would drive new customers to sign up and convert to a new policy.
THE RESULTS:
- Sales uplift during 6-week campaign by 26%
- Ahead of acquisition targets by 13% for the month
- Most redeemed single incentive offer in AA Insurance history at that time
- Record month for highest customer retention during campaign period
- Went on to win two awards at the DM awards for AA Insurance.
